My current work is concerned with the material aspects of painting, the interaction of colours and the thrill of unplanned experimentation.
This process led, intuitive method of working allows me to be led by the painting itself – responding to each new mark as I see fit in that moment. Beginning with plant-like forms and painting over them and repainting again (without an outcome in mind) until they become something else entirely.

I acknowledge the Gadigal and Wangal people of the Eora Nation as the traditional custodians of the land I live and work on, and pay my respects to elders past, present and emerging.
